Resident Evil 7: Biohazard – A Quick Review

Resident Evil 7 Biohazard

Resident Evil is one of the most popular horror game series and it does offer quite a lot of interesting gameplay mechanics and a ton of unique challenges in front of you. What makes the game distinct is its very impressive set of visuals and the high quality that shows just how interesting the gameplay really is!

Resident Evil 7

Resident Evil 7: Biohazard requires you to enter a haunted house as you need to search for your wife named Mia. Once you arrive, you will have to face some pretty major challenges. First of all, you will encounter the Baker family which are pretty weird to say the least. This will bring you into a direct fight with them as you try to find your loved one. Unlike the other titles in the series, this one is not action oriented. It’s actually a good departure from the series, because it makes the gameplay a lot more immersive and intense to say the least. A lot of game focus is on puzzle solving and the survival from the various elements of horror. This works to your advantage and it brings  a very rewarding and distinct gameplay experience. There are lots of challenges to overcome. This alone shows how impressive Resident Evil 7: Biohazard is, although you can expect tons of scares and frightening moments as you play.

Resident Evil 7 Zombie

Resident Evil 7: Biohazard does a very good job at bringing you intensity and fun right off the bat. It will be a challenging experience for sure and one that will impress you with its unique challenges. You can expect plenty of scary moments as you play and the experience on its own is a very good one. It’s safe to say that the entire gameplay is focused on realism and you will always find some new, creative ways to explore the mansion and have fun. What I liked about Resident Evil 7: Biohazard is the fact that it has a very nice approach towards attacking and the first person gameplay is very interesting for sure. You can also find video tapes in the game world and these are helpful because they allow you to progress within the title. I particularly like the fact that the game allows you to keep an inventory and here you can track items and use them when necessary. It’s a lot of fun to explore all the options here and in the end you will see that the experience on its own can be nothing short of rewarding all the time. It’s certainly one of the horror titles that you want to play this year. If you like Resident Evil and the first few games in the series, you will love this one. It has all the bells and whistles you may expect and so much more. It’s certainly worth your time, so you should check it out. The visuals and music are also good, atmospheric, and they suit the gameplay extremely well. Thankfully, this new entry in the series is a masterpiece and you should totally give it a shot! 9/10
